ProblemShared is an online mind health platform
Who we are
We are a community of experienced practitioners and passionate advocates for better access to the highest quality neurodevelopmental and mental health support.
By combining the power of tech with clinical excellence, we provide personalised care to individuals and institutions.
What we do
Neurodevelopmental assessments and support
The journey to assessment, diagnosis, and medication can feel lonely and exhausting. We partner with the NHS, insurance providers and universities to reduce wait times and provide access to the highest quality care.
Talk therapy
We offer talk therapy through a wide range of therapeutic approaches, matching our clients with the practitioner whose specialism and background is the best fit for their situation.
University
We are here to help you meet the growing demand for care in your university. Our practitioners can provide capacity, diversity, and additional specialisms to your embedded counselling services through a secure and reliable video conferencing platform.
Right to Choose
We will shortly be opening this service for adults seeking an autism or ADHD assessment through the NHS.
Vision and values
-
Regulated
We work on a best practice foundation and are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Our clinical staff are highly trained, certified by a suitable professional body, and vetted by us.
-
Collaborative
The collective expertise of our hand-picked counsellors, psychologists, psychiatrists and psychotherapists is at the heart of all we do.
-
Neuro-affirming
Many of our staff have lived experience with neurodivergence, either being neurodivergent themselves or having family members who are neurodivergent. We endeavour to prioritise co-production with the neurodivergent community, and create a space that is truly inclusive for our clients and colleagues.
-
Accessible
Our culturally diverse team of practitioners speak over 30 languages, offering support through a wide range of specialisms, from anywhere with an internet connection. Everyone is welcome here.
-
Human-centric
Our neurodevelopmental service follows a strengths-based approach. We work with our clients to genuinely improve their wellbeing, while protecting their independence and championing their capabilities.

Our founding story
Our CEO and Founder, Nick, is a practising Accident and Emergency doctor. He is plugged into the reality of how economic strain has reduced the capacity of frontline services for mental health in the UK. Wait times continue to rise, driving the severity and volume of hospital cases.
On a mission to make things better, Nick and his wife Tika founded ProblemShared. Their hope is to continue increasing access to the highest quality care, making compassion and clinical excellence the priority.
