Why This Role Matters
As an ADHD Assessor, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering timely, accurate diagnoses and shaping personalised care plans. You’ll work autonomously within a supportive, expert multidisciplinary team—bringing your clinical judgment and empathy to every interaction.
You will;
Conduct thorough ADHD assessments for adults and young people, considering co-occurring or differential diagnoses
Undertake seven assessments per week
Use your clinical expertise to make diagnostic decisions and develop tailored treatment plans
Collaborate in regular clinical supervision, team discussions, and case reviews
Maintain clear, professional records and complete timely reports
Identify and recommend additional assessments or interventions where needed
Contribute to the development of our ADHD care pathways
Share your knowledge by mentoring and training colleagues
Stay current with your professional registration (NMC/HCPC)
What we are looking for
A registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional (NMC/HCPC – no restrictions to practice), GP’s and Doctors with specialist interest (must hold full GMC registration), Social Workers and Occupational Therapists
Proven experience in ADHD assessment and diagnosis, working with both CYPs and Adults with ADHD is preferred and relevant treatment and screening tools
All round up to date knowledge of legislation, research and developments relevant to the field of ADHD
