Why This Role Matters

As an ADHD Assessor, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering timely, accurate diagnoses and shaping personalised care plans. You’ll work autonomously within a supportive, expert multidisciplinary team—bringing your clinical judgment and empathy to every interaction.

You will;

• Conduct thorough ADHD assessments for adults and young people, considering co-occurring or differential diagnoses

• Undertake seven assessments per week

• Use your clinical expertise to make diagnostic decisions and develop tailored treatment plans

• Collaborate in regular clinical supervision, team discussions, and case reviews

• Maintain clear, professional records and complete timely reports

• Identify and recommend additional assessments or interventions where needed

• Contribute to the development of our ADHD care pathways

• Share your knowledge by mentoring and training colleagues

• Stay current with your professional registration (NMC/HCPC)

What we are looking for

• A registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional (NMC/HCPC – no restrictions to practice), GP’s and Doctors with specialist interest (must hold full GMC registration), Social Workers and Occupational Therapists

• Proven experience in ADHD assessment and diagnosis, working with both CYPs and Adults with ADHD is preferred and relevant treatment and screening tools

• All round up to date knowledge of legislation, research and developments relevant to the field of ADHD

• A proactive, improvement-focused mindset
