ADHD Assessor - Contractor

*Please be aware although we are a remote organisation we do require candidates to reside in the UK.*
Salary: £300 per assessment (2 assessments per day)

We offer wrap-around care in the form of psychoeducation, prescribing, educational navigation, and therapy sessions all under one roof.
About the role
As our organisation continues to expand, we are growing our team of ADHD Assessing Contractors. In this role, you will draw on your clinical judgement and experience in a remote setting to independently assess Children, Young people and adults for ADHD. As a registered nurse or allied health professional with experience of assessing and autonomously diagnosing ADHD, you’ll consider differential diagnoses and any co‑occurring conditions to ensure accurate, well‑informed clinical decisions and diagnoses.
What you will do
Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for diagnostic decision making within competence, with supervision from Team Leads
Formulate and implement plans for the treatment of clients
Ensure that the client’s interests are fully considered within the context of their treatment plan, ensuring that all parties actively participate in ethical, shared decision making, utilising a multidisciplinary team approach
Complete risk assessments and review safeguarding needs during ongoing patient care
Ensure accurate and timely client records are kept on the clinical platform. Reports should be written professionally and completed within expected timeframes
Make recommendations on any additional assessments or interventions required (as appropriate) to the client within the report
Work closely with senior leadership team on the further development of the ADHD pathways.
Provide consultation and training to other members of staff to develop skills in this area of expertise
Access regular clinical supervision, management supervision, NMP supervision and multi-disciplinary team meetings/case discussions
What you will need - Must haves
Current NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions on practice and maintain registration
Relevant knowledge and experience of ADHD treatments
Proven experience in ADHD assessment and diagnosis minimum 1 year, working with both CYPs and Adults with ADHD is preferred
Ability to use online assessing tools / IT
Ability to work effectively to manage own caseload.
Sound proven up to date knowledge of relevant Legislation and research and developments relevant to ADHD
Nice to haves
Experience of working with both CYPs and Adults with ADHD
Knowledge of relevant screening tools (e.g. DIVA/ADHDRS/Conners).
Independent Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) qualification.
