About the role: 

ProblemShared is seeking two Junior QA Engineers to join our engineering team. We are looking for candidates with at least 1 year of hands-on manual testing experience. The ideal candidate will be familiar with executing test cases, reporting defects, and collaborating within an Agile team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a strong foundation in QA who is eager to grow their skills through mentoring and exposure to more advanced practices.

What you'll be doing: 

• Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create and execute test cases.

• Perform functional, integration, regression and exploratory testing.

• Log, track, and retest defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

• Provide clear and detailed test documentation (test cases, test evidence, defect reports).

• Create and maintain regression test suite

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers during sprint activities.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.

• Be involved in all Agile ceremonies

What we're looking for: 

Must haves: 

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in manual software testing.

• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals (SDLC, STLC, test types, defect lifecycle).

• Hands-on experience writing, maintaining, and executing test cases.

• Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr.

• Exposure to Agile development environments (Scrum/Kanban).

• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and communication skills.

Nice to have: 

• Experience testing web and/or mobile applications.

• ISTQB Foundation certification (or willingness to obtain it).

• Awareness of automation testing concepts (no hands-on required at this stage).
